국제 공공조달 흐름을 ‘한눈에’ 국제공공조달워크숍 한국에서 열린다.
- 조달청-미주개발은행 공동 개최, OECD, WB, ADB, UN 및 세계 20여 개국 참석
- 전략적 조달에 대한 인식 공유, K-조달 시스템과 우리 조달제품의 우수성 및 인지도 향상

  국내외 조달전문가가 함께 정부조달의 국제적 동향과 우수사례를 공유하는 ‘국제공공조달워크숍’이 4월 17일(수)부터 3일간 일산 킨텍스에서 열린다.

  국제공공조달워크숍은 2016년부터 시작한 국제행사로, 올해는 최초로 미주개발은행(IDB)과 공동으로 한국에서 개최하여 북미 및 중남미 국가와 협력을 강화하는 계기가 될 것으로 전망된다.

  이번 공공조달워크숍에는 OECD(경제협력개발기구), WB(세계은행), IDB(미주개발은행), ADB(아시아개발은행), UN 등 5개 주요 국제기구와 캐나다, 멕시코, 파라과이, 필리핀 등 세계 20여 개국 조달관계자가 참여하여, 공공조달 분야의 글로벌 동향을 공유할 예정이다.

  워크숍에서는 '공공조달에 대한 새로운 통찰력을 얻다'라는 주제로 공공조달의 최신 국제 트렌드와 중앙조달기관의 역할 강화를 위한 인프라 선진화 등을 논의한다.

  특히, K-조달의 중소기업 지원 정책과 한국 전자조달의 현재와 미래에 대해 소개함으로써, 한국 조달 제도 및 시스템에 대한 국제적 인지도를 높일 예정이다.

 조달청은 전 세계 20여개국 워크숍 참석자들에게 회의 기간 중 개최되는 ‘나라장터엑스포(4,17~19)’ 전시장 투어를 제공해 우리 조달 제품 및 기업에 대한 적극적인 홍보에 나선다.

  임기근 조달청장은 “이번 국제조달워크숍은 미주 및 중남미 시장과 밀접한 관계가 있는 미주개발은행과 처음으로 공동 개최하는 의미있는 행사”라면서 “앞으로도 국제기구 및 개발은행들, 그리고 주요 조달기관들과 긴밀한 네트워크를 유지하며, 공공조달의 글로벌 동향을 파악하는 동시에, 이를 통한 우리 기업들의 해외 조달시장 진출 기회를 모색하도록 노력하겠다”고 말했다.

Getting a 'Bird's Eye View' of International Public Procurement Trends
- Co-hosted by PPS and IDB, with the Participation of OECD, WB, ADB, UN, and Delegates from 23 Countries Worldwide
- Sharing Insights on Strategic Procurement, Enhancing Awareness of Korea's Public Procurement System and Quality Products of its Businesses

The International Public Procurement Workshop 2024 (IPPW2024), where domestic and international procurement experts share global trends and best practices in government procurement, will take place from April 17th to 19th at KINTEX in Ilsan, Gyeonggi Province.

Starting in 2016, this international event is co-hosted for the first time in Korea with the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) and is expected to strengthen cooperation with Latin America, the Caribbean and beyond.

This workshop is to be attended by five major international organizations, including OECD, the World Bank, IDB, ADB, the UN, and procurement officials from 20 countries worldwide, including Canada, Mexico, Paraguay, and the Philippines, to share global trends in public procurement.

During the workshop, entitled “Gaining New Insight on Public Procurement”, discussions will focus on latest global procurement trends and enhancement of procurement infrastructure for strengthening the role of central procurement agencies.

In particular, by introducing Korea’s procurement policies for SMEs and presenting the present and future of its e-Procurement, PPS aims to increase international awareness of the nation’s government procurement systems.

Additionally, PPS is to run guided tours at the Korea Public Procurement Expo 2024 (April 17-19) for the event participants, actively promoting quality procurement products and their suppliers.

PPS　Administrator Lim Ki-keun stated, "The IPPW2024, co-hosted for the first time with the Inter-American Development Bank, which has close ties to procurement markets of the Americas, is a meaningful event," adding, "We will continue to maintain close networks with international organizations, development banks, and major procurement agencies, endeavoring to grasp global trends in public procurement and seek opportunities for our companies to enter overseas procurement markets."
