나라장터 엑스포, 역대 최대 해외 바이어 참가로 3,062만불 수출 성과 달성
- 유망 조달기업 9개사가 태국, 브라질, 미국, 중국 등 8개국 수출 성공
- 우크라이나 재건 시장 진출을 위한 1:1 법률상담 제공 등 맞춤형 상담회 진행

 조달청(청장 임기근)은 4월 17일부터 19일까지 3일간 일산 킨텍스에서 개최한 나라장터엑스포(KOPPEX 2024) 수출상담회를 통해 3,062만 달러 수출 계약을 체결하였다고 밝혔다.

 이번 수출상담회는 역대 최대 규모의 해외바이어 87개사가 국내기업 300여개 사와 750여건의 수출 상담을 실시하여 미국, 태국, 브라질 등 8개국 16개사와 수출계약을 체결하는 성과를 거두었다.

 구체적으로, 첨단 CCTV 시스템, 근적외선 온열 치료기, 일체형 가드레일, 견고한 해상부유구조물 등 14개 품목 제품이 우수성을 인정받아 해외조달시장 진출에 성공하였다.

 특히, 조달청의 해외진출 사업에 활발히 참여한 혁신·우수 조달기업은 CCTV 시스템을 태국 경찰청에 납품하는 2,000만불 상당의 대규모 수출 계약을 체결하기도 하였다.

 한편, 조달청은 이번 수출상담회의 부대행사로 해외 조달시장 진출 설명회와 법률·관세 부문의 기업별 맞춤형 컨설팅을 개최하여, 조달기업들의 해외 진출을 지원했다. 특히, 에스토니아 조달 공무원과 폴란드 법무법인이 이번 행사에 참여하여 우크라이나 재건 시장에 우리 조달기업들이 활발히 참여할 수 있는 실질적인 정보를 제공하였다.

 임기근 조달청장은 “그동안 우리 조달기업들의 해외 조달시장 진출을 위해 전방위적으로 지원하던 노력이 결실을 맺게 되어 매우 뜻깊다.”며, “올해 처음 시행되는 ‘해외조달시장 맞춤형 종합지원 사업’과 조달기업 재직자 대상의 전문 교육 확대로 우리 조달기업들의 해외 수출을 더욱 효과적으로 지원해 나가겠다.”고 밝혔다.

The Public Procurement Service of Korea (PPS) announced that export contracts worth $30.62 million were concluded through its Export Plaza held in concurrence with the Korea Public Procurement Expo 2024 at KINTEX in Ilsan, Gyeonggi Province, from April 17th to 19th.

The business event, the largest-ever in its history, saw participation from 90 overseas buyers and over 300 domestic companies, resulting in 750 export consultations and contracts with 16 companies from 8 countries including the United States, Thailand, and Brazil.

Specifically, 14 product items including advanced CCTV systems, near-infrared thermal therapy devices, integrated guardrails, and sturdy offshore floating structures were recognized for their excellence, leading to successful entry into overseas procurement markets.

In particular, a supplier recognized for its innovative technologies, active in PPS’  overseas expansion projects, also signed a large-scale export contract worth $20 million to supply CCTV systems to the Thai police department.

Furthermore, on the sideline of this business event, the central procurer held tailored consulting sessions for companies on overseas procurement market entry and legal and customs matters to support their overseas sales expansion. Particularly, officials from the Estonian procurement office and a law firm from Poland participated in this event, providing practical information for Korean companies to join Ukrainian reconstruction projects.

PPS　Administrator Lim Ki-keun stated, "It is very meaningful that the comprehensive support efforts for domestic suppliers' entry into overseas procurement markets have borne fruit," and added, "We will continue to support the overseas exports of these companies more effectively through the newly launched 'Tailored Comprehensive Support Project for Overseas Procurement Market Entry' and the expansion of specialized education for procurement company employees."
