K-조달…오세아니아 조달시장에서 수출 답 찾는다.
- 조달기업 12개사 참여, 호주 재무부와 양자회의 개최로 정부간 협력도 강화

 조달청(청장 임기근)이 해외진출이 유망한 우리 중소 조달기업의 호주 및 오세아니아 시장 진출을 지원하기 위해 5월 1일부터 2일까지 호주 시드니에서 열리는 ’시드니 건축 박람회(Sydney Build Expo 2024)‘에 참여한다.

 호주 및 오세아니아 조달시장 진출을 위한 조달청 경제사절단 파견은 이번이 처음이다.

 호주 최대의 건설 박람회인 시드니 건축 박람회에는 기술력과 경쟁력을 인정받은 우수조달기업이 참여해 현지 바이어와의 수출상담을 통해 호주 조달시장 진출을 위한 방안을 모색한다.

 조달청은 이번 박람회에서 실내 마감재, 단열 페인트 등 친환경 건축 자재를 생산하는 중소조달기업 12개사와 공동전시관을 구성, 국내 조달시장에서 검증된 우수기업의 기술력을 홍보할 예정이다.

 이번 호주 방문에서는 호주 정부와의 조달분야 협력 체계도 강화한다.

 조달청은 호주 연방 재무부와의 협력 회의를 개최하고 지난해 혁신제품 해외실증을 통해 멜버른에 공급한 ’면발광 도로표지판‘의 설치 현장을 멜버른 지방정부 관계자와 함께 방문한다.

 김응걸 기획조정관은 “이번 전시회 참여는 오세아니아 지역 조달시장 진출을 위한 최초의 시도로, 이를 측면 지원하기 위한 호주 연방 재무부 및 멜버른 지방정부 관계자와의 협력 관계망 구축의 성과가 크다.”면서, 

 “국내에서 기술력이 검증된 우수조달기업들이 다양한 해외 조달시장 진출에 도전할 수 있도록 다각적으로 지원하겠다.”고 강조했다.

- 12 procurement companies participating, bilateral meeting with Australian Federal Treasury to strengthen government cooperation

 The Public Procurement Service (PPS) will participate in the 'Sydney Build EXPO 2024' in Sydney, Australia from May 1 to 2, to support Korean SMEs with promising overseas expansion to enter the Australian and Oceania markets.

 This is the first time that PPS has sent an economic mission to the Australian and Oceania procurement markets.

 The Sydney Build Expo, Australia's largest construction EXPO, will be attended by outstanding procurement companies that have been recognized for their technology. These companies will seek opportunities to enter the Australian procurement market through export consultations with local buyers.

 PPS will organize a joint pavilion with 12 SMEs producing eco-friendly building materials such as interior finishes and insulation paints at the fair. This initiative aims to promote the technology of excellent companies that have already proven themselves in the domestic procurement market.

 The visit to Australia will also serve to strengthen the procurement cooperation system with the Australian government.

 PPS will hold a cooperation meeting with the Australian Federal Treasury and visit the installation site of the 'cotton luminescent road sign' supplied to Melbourne through an overseas demonstration of innovative products last year with Melbourne local government officials.

 Kim Eung Keol, Director General of Planning and Coordination of PPS, stated, “Participating in this exhibition is our first attempt to enter the procurement market in Oceania, and it is a great achievement to build a network of cooperative relationships with the Australian Federal Treasury and Melbourne local government officials,” and added, “We will continue to support excellent procurement companies with proven technology in Korea in various ways to challenge their entry into various overseas procurement markets.”
