조달청·중기부·창업진흥원… 우리기업 해외 판로 뚫는다.
9월 19일부터 21일까지 ‘Smart Nation Expo 2023’ 참여,
우수조달·창업기업 제품 동반 전시, 해외조달시장 판로 개척

 조달청(청장 김윤상)은 중소벤처기업부(장관 이영), 창업진흥원(원장 김용문)과 함께 우수 조달기업과 창업기업의 해외조달시장 진출 지원을 위해 말레이시아에서 9월 19일부터 21일까지 개최되는‘Smart Nation Expo 2023’ 전시회에 참여한다.

 이번 전시회는 말레이시아 과학기술혁신부(MOSTI*)가 지원하는 혁신 도시(스마트 도시) 박람회로 첨단 정보통신기술 도입과 관련된 장비의 구매 및 수출 상담이 활발히 이루어질 것으로 예상된다.

 조달청과 창업진흥원은 사물인터넷(Iot) 무선감지 장치, 도로안전 시설물 등을 생산하는 우리 중소기업 10개 사와 공동관을 구성하여 제품을 홍보하고, 계약 상담을 진행하는 등 해외 조달시장 개척에 나선다.

 황외석 국제협력담당관은 “국내에서 검증된 우수 조달기업과 창업기업의 해외시장 진출을 위해서는 적극적이고 지속적인 시장개척 노력이 중요하다.”라면서, “앞으로도 다양한 유관기관과 긴밀하게 협업하여 조달기업의 해외 진출을 밀착 지원해 나갈 것”이라고 말했다.

Excellent Government Procurement Products and Startup Products on Display

A Public Procurement Service(PPS) delegation, along with those of the Ministry of SMEs an Startups(MSS) and the Korea Institute of Startup & Entrepreneurship Development(KISED), will join ‘Smart Nation Expo 2023’ held in Malaysia from September 19 to September 21 to support excellent government suppliers and startups for making inroads into overseas markets.

At the smart city fair supported by Malaysia’s Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation, intensive business consultations and purchases of ICT products are expected to be made.

PPS and KISED will set up a joint pavilion with ten Korean SMEs manufacturing wireless IoT sensors, road safety barriers, etc., promote their products and host contract consultations in an effort to expand overseas sales channels for those companies.   

Hwang Oe Seok, director of International Cooperation Division of PPS stated, “Persistent efforts to explore overseas sales channels are crucial for domestically successful suppliers and startups to expand globally,” adding, “PPS will continue to closely cooperate with diverse relevant authorities to support the companies for overseas expansion.”
