혁신·우수조달물품을 한자리에... ‘코리아 나라장터 엑스포 2024’

 국내 유일한 공공조달 종합박람회인 ‘코리아 나라장터 엑스포 2024’가 ‘기술혁신 K-조달, 세계로! 미래로!’라는 주제로 17일(수)부터 19일(금)까지 경기도 고양시 킨텍스에서 열린다.

 올해 24회째로 열리는 ‘코리아 나라장터 엑스포 2024’는 혁신·벤처기업 제품의 국내 외 조달수요를 창출해 판로를 개척하고 우수조달기업 제품의 해외수출를 지원하는 대한민국 대표 공공조달 박람회이다.

 이번 엑스포는 공공은 물론 국민, 대기업이 함께 참여해 중소·창업벤처·혁신기업의 우수기술제품 판로를 제공하고 해외 바이어와 상담을 통해 해외진출의 기회를 갖는 등 실질적인 성과를 창출할 수 있도록 지원하는데 중점을 뒀다.

 우선, 나라장터 엑스포 2024에는 역대 최대 규모인 650여개 우수조달기업이 참가해 1,100여개의 부스에 혁신제품, 신기술·신제품을 선보인다.

 엑스포 전시관은 신성장관, 벤처나라관, CES관, 우수조달물품관, MAS물품관, 서비스관, 공동관 등 제품 특색과 주제별로 전시관을 구성하고 체험 기회도 다양하게 마련하여 관람객들의 관심과 눈높이에 맞게 운영할 예정이다.

 신성장관에서는 불가사리를 활용한 저부식성 친환경 제설제, 인공지능기반 보행자 안전시스템, 폭발물 및 마약 흔적탐지 등 혁신성과 기술력을 인정받은 혁신제품을 만나볼 수 있다.

 벤처나라관은 공공조달 납품실적이 없는 창업·벤처기업의 조달시장 진입을 쉽게 하고 판로확보 기회를 제공하는 '벤처나라' 전용몰 등록기업의 신제품을 공개한다.

 CES관에서는 올해 1월 미국에서 개최된 국제전자제품박람회에 참가해 혁신상을 수상한 제품으로 넘어지지 않는 실내 자전거, 바다 위 오염물질 검출·제거 로봇, 녹조 현황관리 및 제거 로봇 등 세계적으로 우수성을 인정받은 신기술을 확인할 수 있다.

 공동관은 경기도·김해시·청주시 특별관, 창업진흥원, 중기부 공공판로육성관, 한국도로공사 기술마켓공동관 등 지자체와 공공기관이 지원하는 기술력이 뛰어난 제품들을 전시한다.

 둘째, 엑스포 최초로 국방부 공동관과 서비스관이 신규로 마련된다.

 국방부 공동관은 자동 초점 쌍안경, 폴리우레탄 안전장화, 진공 이불 등 K-국방의 기술력을 직접 확인할 수 있도록 군수 혁신제품을 선보인다.

 또한 기존 물품 위주 전시에서 벗어나 커피 구독서비스, AI기반 고몰입도 영상회의, 전자태그 재물조사 서비스 등 무형의 공공서비스 발전 현황과 방향성을 가늠할 수 있는 기회도 제공한다.

 셋째, 국민이 직접 우수조달제품을 저렴하게 구매할 수 있는 상생세일관 운영과 전시상품의 할인 판매도 최초로 시도된다.

 상생세일은 나라장터 종합쇼핑몰에 등록된 업체가 할인된 가격으로 판매하는 행사로, 일반인과 공공기관은 상생세일관에서 가성비 있는 제품 구매가 가능하다. 전시상품 판매는 관람객이 전시 상품을 할인된 가격으로 구매하면 행사 종료 후 배송해 주는 방식으로 이뤄진다.

 넷째, 총 30여 개의 국내 외 조달 관련 행사가 엑스포 기간 내 진행된다.

 국내 행사로는 수요기관과 참여기업은 물론 대기업 구매담당자와 엑스포 참여기업 간 1:1 매칭이 이뤄지는 동반성장 공공구매 상담회를 운영해 제품 정보 공유 및 판로 확대 기회를 제공한다. 

 국제행사는 국내기업의 글로벌 조달시장 진출을 돕기 위해 90개사 해외 바이어가 참여해 750여 건의 상담이 이뤄지는 수출 상담회가 대표적이다. 올해는 해외 한인 민간 네트워크(INKE) 바이어가 최초로 참가하여 해외시장 설명과 상담회를 실시한다.

 세계 중앙조달기관 다자간회의(MMGP)1)와 국제조달워크숍(IPPW)2)도 엑스포 행사기간 동안 열린다.

 MMGP는 조달분야 선진 6개국(한국, 미국, 영국, 캐나다, 이탈리아, 칠레)과의 다자간 회의와 주요 고위급 양자회담을 통해 각 국의 공공조달의 개혁과 미래에 대해서 논의한다.

 IPPW에는 OECD, IDB 등 국제기구와 캐나다, 칠레, 필리핀 등 20여 개국 50여명이 참석하여 공공조달 최신 동향 정보를 교환하고, K-조달의 우수성과 제도 및 시스템을 소개한다.

 마지막으로, 최대 규모로 개최되는 행사인 만큼 관람객과 해외바이어 등 모든 참가자들을 위해 다양한 서비스와 볼거리도 준비했다.

 관람객이 전시관을 불편 없이 둘러볼 수 있도록 휴게공간과 카페테리아를 충분하게 배치하여 운영하고,

 행사장 가이드와 함께 제품 설명을 듣는 ‘가이드 투어’, 전시관 방문 시 스탬프를 모아오면 상품을 증정하는 ‘스탬프 투어’를 비롯해 전문 쇼호스트가 우수조달기업의 신기술？신제품을 현장에서 소개하는 쇼케이스를 대형 LED영상을 통해 실시간으로 중계한다.

 또한 엑스포 기념 소장 사진 ‘인생네컷’, 엑스포 현장 사진 공모전인 ‘KOPPEX 베스트 한컷’, 전통문화상품 DIY*키트 만들기 체험 등 국민이 함께 참여하는 다채로운 이벤트도 진행한다.

 그리고, 조달청 SNS 기자단 팸투어*를 실시하여 엑스포 현장 구석구석을 기사, 웹툰, 영상 등 다양한 디지털콘텐츠를 제작하여 국민들에게 홍보할 예정이다.

 임기근 조달청장은 “올해에는 국민 여러분들과 국내 외 대·중견·중소기업이 우수한 공공조달물품을 접할 수 있도록 참여의 폭을 대폭 넓혀 다양한 조달기업·국내 외 바이어·관심 있는 일반국민들이 함께 어우러진 축제의 장이 될 것”이라면서

“나라장터 엑스포를 통해 조달기업이 국내 조달시장은 물론 해외 조달시장에서도 판로를 개척하고 성장할 수 있는 기회의 장이 되도록 하겠다”고 말했다.

Korea Public Procurement Expo 2024, the nation’s sole comprehensive public procurement exhibition, will be held under the theme of "Technological Innovation K-Public Procurement, Toward the World! Into the Future!" from the 17th (Wednesday) to the 19th (Friday) at KINTEX in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province.

The Expo, marking its 24th anniversary, serves as South Korea's representative public procurement fair, creating domestic and international procurement demand for products of innovative and venture companies, pioneering sales channels, and supporting the export of quality procurement products of reliable and well-performing suppliers.

This year's expo focuses on generating practical results by providing support for SMEs, innovative and venture enterprises, and creating opportunities for overseas expansion through consultations with overseas buyers, alongside participation from the people, public institutions and large corporations.

Korea Public Procurement Expo 2024 features over 650 outstanding procurement companies showcasing government-designated Innovative Products and new technology products at more than 1,100 booths, making it the largest in its history.

The expo venue is divided into various exhibition pavilions including for New Growth, Venture Mall, CES, the Excellent Government Procurement Product, the MAS Product, Service, etc., each highlighting product characteristics and themes, providing diverse experiential opportunities to cater to the interests and expectations of visitors.

In the New Growth Pavilion, visitors can explore innovative products recognized for their innovation and technological prowess, such as environmentally friendly de-icing agents using starfish, AI-based pedestrian safety systems, and explosive and narcotic trace detection technologies.

The Venture Mall Pavilion introduces new products from registered companies in the Venture Mall, an online mall dedicated to venture products, making it easier for startup and venture companies without public procurement sales records to enter the procurement market and secure market access opportunities.

At the CES Pavilion, visitors can witness this year’s CES Innovative Award technologies such as indoor bicycles resistant to tipping over, robots for detecting and removing pollutants on the sea surface, and robots for managing and removing algae.

The Joint Pavilion showcases products with outstanding technological capabilities supported by local governments and public agencies from Gyeonggi Province, Gimhae City, Cheongju City,  the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, and the Korea Expressway Corporation.

Secondly, for the first time, the expo will feature the Joint Pavilion with the Ministry of National Defense and the Service Pavilion.

The Joint Pavilion will showcase military innovation products, allowing visitors to directly experience the technological prowess of K-defense through innovative military products such as auto-focus binoculars, polyurethane safety boots, and vacuum blankets.

Additionally, departing from the conventional focus on goods, the expo will offer insights into intangible public service development trends and directions, including coffee subscription services, AI-based immersive video conferencing, and electronic tag inventory services.

Thirdly, the expo will introduce the Win-Win Sales section where visitors and public agencies can purchase Excellent Government Procurement Products at discounted prices, along with the discounted sales of displayed products.  

The mentioned mutually beneficial sales section offers products from *KONEPS Mall-registered companies at discounted prices, allowing the general public and public institutions to purchase cost-effective products. Displayed product sales involve visitors purchasing them at discounted prices and the delivery is made after the event.

Fourthly, around 30 domestic and international procurement-related events will take place during the expo.

Domestic events include one-on-one consultations attended by user agencies, participating companies, and purchasing officers from large corporation to share product information and expand market opportunities.

International events include the Export Plaza where 90 overseas buyers participate, resulting in approximately 750 consultations, aiming to assist Korean companies in entering global procurement markets. This year, buyers from the International Network of Korean Entrepreneurs(INKE) will participate for the first time, providing explanations and consultations on overseas markets.

Moreover, the 9th Multilateral Meeting on Government Procurement (9th MMGP) and the International Public Procurement Workshop 2024(IPPW2024) will also take place during the event period.

The 9th MMGP involves multilateral meetings with advanced procurement countries (Korea, the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Italy, and Chile) and holds key high-level bilateral meetings to discuss public procurement reforms and future directions.

IPPW2024 brings together international organizations such as OECD and  IDB, as well as delegates from about 20 countries including Canada, Chile, and the Philippines, to exchange information on the latest trends in public procurement, introduce diverse government procurement systems of Korea. 

Finally, given the event being the largest in its history, various services and attractions have been prepared for all participants, including visitors and overseas buyers.

To ensure visitors can explore exhibition halls comfortably, sufficient rest areas and cafeterias will be set up. Additionally, there will be guided tours where visitors can learn about displayed products, and a stamp tour where visitors collect stamps when visiting exhibition halls to receive gifts later. Showcase presentations by professional show hosts will introduce innovative technologies and new products from outstanding procurement companies in real-time through large LED screens.

Furthermore, diverse events will be held, such as a commemorative photo booth, the 'KOPPEX Best Shot' photo contest, and hands-on activities with traditional cultural product DIY kits.

Additionally, *PPS’ Social Media Team will conduct a fam tour*, producing various digital contents such as articles, webtoons, and videos, to promote the expo to the public.

PPS Administrator Lim Ki-keun stated, "With expanded participation including procurement companies of all sizes, both domestic and international, as well as general citizens, this year’s expo will be a festival where everyone comes together and enjoy."
