조달청, 아태지역 주한 외교관 등 16개국 대상 조달정책 설명회 개최

 ‘K-조달’의 해외 진출이 전자조달을 넘어 조달제도까지 확대되고 있다.

 조달청은 7일 서울 한국프레스센터 외신기자클럽에서 ‘아태지역 주한 외교사절단 초청 조달정책 설명회’를 개최했다.

 이번 설명회는 공공조달 행정과 관련된 각 국의 제도와 경험을 공유하고 조달 분야 국제협력을 강화하기 위해 마련됐다.

 조달청 최초로 실시된 이번 설명회에는 베트남, 캄보디아, 동티모르, 파키스탄 대사 등 아시아 태평양 지역 16개국 20명의 외교관이 참석해 한국형 공공조달과 디지털 조달에 대한 높은 관심을 보였다.

 이날 설명회에서는 혁신제품제도 등 ‘K-조달’ 주요 제도와 ‘공공조달 혁신방안’을 중심으로 ‘품질과 안전’, ‘공정조달’ 등 주요 추진 정책들을 공유했다.

 이와 함께 2024년 개통을 목표를 추진 중인 국가종합전자조달시스템인 ‘나라장터의 최신 변화’를 설명하며 한국형 전자조달시스템의 우수성을 소개했다.

 나아가, 우리나라가 글로벌 중추 국가로서 조달분야 국제협력강화를 위해 수행할 역할과 기여 방안에 대해 서로 폭넓은 의견을 나눴다.

 김윤상 조달청장은 “이번 설명회를 시작으로 세계적으로 우수성을 인정받고 있는 한국형 전자조달 시스템뿐만 아니라 우리나라의 앞선 조달제도를 다양한 국가와 함께 교류 및 공유해 나갈 계획”이라고 말했다.

Going beyond e-Procurement to Procurement systems

PPS  hosted its Public Procurement Policy Session
for Diplomatic Corps from sixteen Asia-Pacific nations 

‘K-Public Procurement’ has been expanding beyond e-procurement to procurement systems in its move abroad. 

The Public Procurement Service(PPS) held the Public Procurement Policy Session for the Asia-Pacific Diplomatic Corps in Korea on September 7, 2023, at the Korea Press Center in Seoul.    

The event was designed for sharing different procurement administration and systems of each participating country, strengthening international cooperation in the field.  

PPS’s first-ever session on procurement policies for diplomatic corps in Korea was attended by twenty diplomats from sixteen regional countries including ambassadors of Vietnam, Cambodia, Timor-Leste and Pakistan. They paid great attention to overall government procurement and digital public procurement in Korea.  

In addition, major K-Public Procurement systems and policies including ‘Innovation Procurement’, ‘Quality and Safety Management’ and ‘Fair Procurement’ implemented under the “Public Procurement Innovation Strategies’ were also presented during the session.  

On top of that, the Next-Generation KONEPS (Korea ON-line E-Procurement System), aimed to be launched in 2024, and its new features were introduced. And throughout the event extensive discussions were also made regarding the role and ways forward of international cooperation in public procurement of Korea as a ‘Global Pivotal State’

PPS Administrator Kim Yoon-sang stated, “Taking this procurement policy session as an initial step, PPS will continue to share ideas on globally renowned KONEPS and Korea’s procurement policies with various countries.”
