Invitation for Bid on the sale of Scrap Equipment & Materials
You are invited to bid on the sale of Scrap Equipment & Materials not being used for the nuclear power plant construction project.
1. Sales Items
Containment Spray Pump, etc. (2 items, refer to「List of Items for sale」)
2. Type of Tendering : International Competitive Tendering
3. Requirement of Participant
Those who are participating in tender shall comply with the export control laws, rulings and regulations of the related country.
4. Application for Participation in Tendering
A. Submittal
a. Method : by Items which the tenderers want, by mail or by hand
b. Opening Time : 2011.1.07(Fri) 16:00(Korean Standard Time)
Closing Time : 2011.1.17(Mon) 16:00(Korean Standard Time)

B. Security Deposit for Tendering
the security deposit for tendering shall be not less than five(5) percent of the total tender price in the form of cash or surety bond on submitting the application

5. Description on the spot
A. Qualification
A tenderer who is willing to submit a tender after the application for participation in tendering
B. Itinerary : Each tenderer who applied for Participation in Tendering will be notified of the schedule.
C. A tenderer must cover all costs related to the description on the spot
D. This description is to inform qualifying tenderers of the location of the bidding items. KEPCO would not bear any responsibilities on the conditions of the bidding items.
6. Tendering Submittal and opening of the tender
A. Tender by Items should be submitted by hand or by registered mail
B. Opening Time : 2011.1. 18(Tue) 09:00(Korean Standard Time)
Closing Time : 2011. 1. 19(Wed) 16:00(Korean Standard Time)
C. Opening of the tender
a. place : the same place for submittal

Providing that the date of submitting or opening of the tender can be adjusted after reviewing the reasonableness of the tenderer’s request to delay the submitting or opening date for technical review.(Tenderers will be informed of the changed schedule individually.)
7. Selection process
A. As the valid tender having not less than two(2) tenderers, the highest bidder whose bid price is over the KEPCO's Sale Target Price will be selected.
B. In case there are more than two(2) tenderers having the same highest bid price able to be selected, the successful bidder shall be decided by drawing lots on the spot.
8. Note of Caution
The tenderer should have thorough knowledge in advance on all matters related to this bid through tendering instructions, description on the spot, etc. Risks resulting from failure to do so will be borne by the tenderer.
