우리기업 수출 활력… 해외조달시장에서 찾는다
국·내외기업 참여 공공조달수출상담회, 3년 만에 전면 대면으로

 조달청(청장 김윤상)은 29일부터 30일까지 엠버서더서울풀만 호텔에서 외교부, 대한무역투자진흥공사(KOTRA)와 공동으로 「2023 공공조달 수출상담회」를 개최한다.

 3년 만에 전면 대면으로 진행되는 상담회에는 국내기업 250개 사를 비롯해 미국, 아시아 등 21개국 90여 개 해외기업이 참여하여 협력 관계를 구축하고 수출의 기회를 모색하게 된다.

 수출상담회에서는 UNDP(유엔개발계획), UNICEF(유엔아동기금) 등 UN 조달관계자들이 참여하는 해외조달시장 진출 설명회가 열려 현장에서 우리 기업과 UN 관련 해외조달시장 진출 방안에 대해 의견을 나눈다.

 관세·무역 분쟁 관련 전문가 컨설팅, UN 조달관 및 바이어 대상 홍보부스, 600만 불 상당의 수출계약 체결식 등 우리 기업과 해외조달 바이어 간 교류의 장이 열린다. 

 또한, 조달청은 수출우수기업 대표들이 참여하는 간담회를 개최해 해외조달시장 판로개척, 혁신제품 시범구매 확대 등에 대한 수출 현장의 목소리를 청취하고 해외조달시장 진출 지원을 위한 실효성 있는 대안을 마련할 예정이다.

 김윤상 조달청장은 “이번 상담회는 3년 만에 조달기업과 해외 조달관계자들이 직접 대면하여 해외조달시장 진출 가능성을 타진하는 의미 있는 행사”라며
 “다양한 수출지원제도를 통해 기업의 수출 역량을 제고하고 해외시장진출을 적극 지원하겠다”고 말했다.

Global Public Procurement Marketplace(GPPM) with domestic and overseas Companies - The first in person fair in 3 years

The Public Procurement Service (PPS, Administrator Kim Yoonsang) will partner with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) to host the "2023 Global Public Procurement Marketplace" from November 29 to 30, 2023.

This is the first in-person fair in three years and will bring together 250 Korean companies with 90 foreign companies from 21 countries, including the United States and Asia. The fair will provide an opportunity for companies to build partnerships and explore export opportunities.

A seminar featuring UN procurement officials from UNDP (United Nations Development Programme) and UNICEF (United Nations Children's Fund) will be held during the fair to discuss strategies for entering the UN-related overseas public procurement market.

Additionally, Korean companies will have ample opportunities to engage with overseas procurement buyers and companies through expert consultations on customs and trade disputes, a dedicated promotional booth for UN procurement officials and buyers, and a signing ceremony for export contracts worth $6 million.

The PPS will also convene with representatives of export-leading companies to gather insights on overseas public procurement market expansion, pilot purchases of innovative products, and effective support mechanisms for Korean companies venturing into these markets.

Administrator Kim Yoonsang of the PPS said, “This fair is a meaningful event where procurement companies and overseas procurement officials can meet face-to-face to explore the possibility of entering the overseas procurement market.” He added “We will actively support the export of companies by enhancing their export capabilities through various export support programs.”
